A Brazilian formulated chemical peel. Medium/Deep Peel - NEEDS CONSULTATION BEFORE SERVICE. It is a slightly or moderately painful treatment. HOW DOES IT WORK? This peel works by driving spicules into the skin, to create microchannels. These channels facilitate the absorption of active ingredients into the deeper layers of the skin, exfoliating the skin, promoting collagen production and stimulating cellular regeneration. Natural & Acid Free Safe for nursing mothers WHAT TO EXPECT: DURING TREATMENT AND IMMEDIATELY AFTER A prickling sensation is to be expected. Redness of skin is very normal. In fact, expect skin to get progressively more red within the first 24 hours. Skin may feel warm to the touch. DAY 1 AND 2 A prickling sensation is normal for up to 48 hours. Dry, sandy feeling skin is also to be expected. Little bumps with water on the skin is normal when doing a deep peel. DAY 3 TO 5 Prickling sensation subsides, and skin starts to flake and peel. Dry, tightness, rough skin is to be expected DAY 6 AND 7 Less peeling and glowing skin. PRECARE: -7 days prior to your peel, stop using all actives including retinol or acids. -72 hours prior to your peel, stop any exfoliation treatments. -48 hours prior to your peel, do not moisturize or use hydrating products. POSTCARE: -For 24 hours post-treatment, no cleanser, moisturizer or SPF. -For 72 hours post-treatment, nothing that increases skin or body temperature. No exercising, swimming, sauna, or hot showers. -For 7-10 days post-treatment, no exfoliation. -Only use a gentle cleanser, aqua cream, and spf until peeling subsides. You can then return to your normal routine. -You can use a cool compress or ice roller if you are experiencing discomfort.
