Chemical Peel
Service Description
A chemical peel is a cosmetic procedure that involves applying a chemical solution to the skin to remove the top layers and stimulate new skin growth. This procedure can improve the appearance of the skin by addressing concerns such as: Wrinkles and fine lines, Sun damage, Age spots, Acne scars, and Uneven skin tone. Chemical peels come in varying strengths, from light to deep. The depth of the peel determines the amount of skin removed and the resulting recovery time. Light peels may produce mild redness and flaking, while deep peels can cause more significant irritation and scarring. It's important to consult before undergoing a chemical peel to determine the appropriate strength and ensure that the procedure is safe and effective for your individual skin type. Contraindications for chemical peels include recent sun exposure, active skin infections or open wounds, allergies to peel ingredients, recent use of certain medications (accutane), skin cancer, pregnancy, and a history of keloid scarring or abnormal skin scarring. -For medium and deep peels, the client needs to have a consultation beforehand. - A series of sessions is necessary for best results. Indications: -Magic Clear Peel (Medium Peel): Melasma, Post inflammatory Hyperpigmentation, Rejuvenation, anti-aging, remove texture. -Retinol Peel (Light Peel): Hyperpigmentation, minimize pores appearance, intimate hyperpigmentation. -Acne Scar Peel (Medium/Deep Peel): Acne Scars - NEEDS CONSULTATION BEFORE SERVICE. -Jesser Peel (Light Peel): Melasma, Post inflammatory Hyperpigmentation, Active acne, minimize pores appearance, intimate hyperpigmentation, remove texture. Light chemical peels target the superficial layer of skin and are used to gently improve the appearance of acne scarring, uneven skin tone, and dry skin. Medium chemical peels remove damaged skin cells from the epidermis and from parts of the dermis. They go deeper than light peels, which can be useful if the condition of your skin requires a more powerful treatment. Deep chemical peels go even further and are used to treat more extensive wrinkles, skin texture issues, scarring, and more severe skin conditions. Generally, a deep peel doesn’t require repeat treatments to see results.
