A professional evaluation is required to determine if ATA Peel is safe and appropriate for your skin. *An ATA chemical peel — is a medium-depth chemical peel used to improve skin texture, pigmentation, acne scars, and overall skin rejuvenation. *This peel penetrates deeper than superficial peels, stimulating collagen production and accelerating cell turnover. It is commonly used for: -Acne scars (best for rolling, and ice-pick scars) -Fine lines and skin roughness -Enlarged pores -Uneven texture -Overall skin rejuvenation The ATA solution causes a controlled exfoliation of the outer and mid layers of the skin, revealing smoother, clearer, brighter skin. *Contraindications: Clients should NOT undergo an ATA peel if they have: - Skin types IV - V - VI -Active acne infections (pustules, inflamed acne) -Open wounds, cold sores, or active herpes lesions -Skin infections, dermatitis, or eczema on the treated area -Recent tanning or sunburn -Use of Accutane within the last 12 months -Pregnancy or breastfeeding -Autoimmune disorders affecting the skin -History of keloids or abnormal scarring -Use of retinoids, AHA/BHA, or exfoliants within the last 5–7 days -Current use of photosensitizing medications (certain antibiotics, acne meds, or chemotherapy) -Recent procedures: microneedling or microchanneling, laser, waxing, PDO threads (area must be fully healed). *Downtime & Healing Expectations: Clients should be prepared for visible downtime, typically 5–10 days, depending on peel strength and skin type. Day 1–2: -Skin feels tight and dry -Slight redness or darkening -Possible frosting immediately after the procedure (normal) Day 3–5: -Skin begins to crack and peel -Brown patches lift and shed -Makeup should be avoided Day 6–10: -Peeling slows down -Skin looks fresh but may be pink -Sun protection is essential Important: -Do NOT pick or peel the skin. -Apply CICAPLAST BALM B5 daily. -SPF 50 daily is mandatory. Results improve over the next 4–6 weeks as collagen forms.
